The End-of-Arm-Safeguard from SICK is an innovative safety system for collaborative robot applications. This is the world’s first contactless safety solution for robot end-effectors and workpieces. Designed to facilitate interaction with the robot, the EOAS creates a protective field around the robot tool. Thanks to contactless technology, the robot stops before a collision occurs, then automatically restarts when it is safe to do so.

- Invisible IR protection shell with 40 laser beams
- Protective range up to 550 mm (adjustable, depending of length of tool and workpiece)
- Monitoring range up to 700 mm (speed reduction)
- Response time ≤ 110 ms
