Pickit Bin Picking Feasibility Friday
Happy #FeasibilityFriday! This week we’re looking at a bin picking application, using Pickit 3D vision for cobots.
In this trial, a Universal Robots cobot is fitted with a Robotiq Hand-E gripper allowing it to pick bearing cases from a box. The Pickit camera is positioned above the box so that it can, as you can see in the video, scan the bearing cases enabling the robot to locate them for picking. We also used the UR palletising template for the robot to place the parts in a grid pattern.
