Packaging Parts Feeding Feasibility Friday
Happy #FeasibilityFriday! Today we’re looking at a part feeding application.
This feasibility trial uses a FlexiBowl from Ars Automation to feed packaging components into a production process. The linear hopper delivers the packaging components to the FlexiBowl disk, where they are orientated through the movement produced by the rotary disk and flip mechanism. The components could then be picked and placed by a robotic arm, thanks to the FlexiVision System, which can send part coordinates to a compatible robot. The URCap platform makes it easy for a Universal Robots cobot and FlexiBowl to work together.
