Cobot Dual Cup Vacuum Gripper Feasibility Friday

We’re back with another #FeasibilityFriday! This week we’re looking at improving the cycle time of a pick and place application using a dual cup vacuum gripper.

In this application, a Universal Robots UR5e is separating a pile of books by picking and placing them. The cobot is fitted with a dual cup EPick vacuum gripper from Robotiq, which allows two books to be picked and placed at once. In a real-world application, the robot would be placing the books onto a conveyor.
